Privacy Policy

Last updated: November 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Baltic Flights collects, uses and protects your personal data when you use our website. We are committed to handling your information responsibly and in line with data protection law.

1. Information we collect

  • Search information: the routes, dates, airports and passenger details you enter when using our search.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and language.
  • Usage information: pages viewed, links clicked and how you interact with the website.
  • Newsletter and price alerts: your email address and, for alerts, the route and the dates you choose.
  • Analytics data (only with your consent): how you use the website, collected through Google Analytics.
  • Cookies and similar technologies, as described in our Cookie Policy.

2. How we use your information

  • To provide and operate the search and comparison service.
  • To improve our website, features and user experience.
  • To send you the newsletter and price alerts you request, and to let you unsubscribe at any time.
  • To measure the performance of our partnerships and, where applicable, earn a commission.
  • To prevent fraud, ensure security and comply with legal obligations.

3. Legal bases

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process your data on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a metasearch service, your consent (for example for certain cookies), and our need to comply with legal obligations.

4. Sharing your information

We share data with travel providers and affiliate networks so that you can be redirected to the relevant booking site, and with service providers that help us run the website — for example Google Analytics (analytics) and our affiliate network (monetisation and conversion measurement). We do not sell your personal data.

Advertising: we may show ads served by Google AdSense and other advertising partners. These partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show ads based on your previous visits to this and other websites. In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, ads are only personalised if you give consent through the cookie banner. You can manage personalised advertising in your Google Ad Settings (adssettings.google.com) or opt out at www.aboutads.info.

5. International transfers

Some of our partners are located outside the European Economic Area. Where this happens, we take appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your data.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy and to meet legal requirements.

7. Your rights

  • Access, correct or delete your personal data.
  • Object to or restrict certain processing.
  • Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing already carried out.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

8. Marketing and advertising

With your consent, we and our partners may use cookies and similar technologies to show you relevant advertising and to measure its performance. You can withdraw your consent at any time through our cookie banner.

We do not sell your personal data. We may share pseudonymised information with advertising and analytics partners to measure campaigns.

We use Google Analytics (Google Ireland Limited) to measure traffic and usage. For visitors from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, it only loads after you accept analytics cookies; if you reject them, no analytics measurement takes place. For visitors elsewhere, where cookie consent is not required by law, Google Analytics loads by default — and if you declined it before, we keep respecting that choice.

To decide whether to show the cookie banner, our server works out your country from your IP address using the IP to Country Lite database by DB-IP.com (IP Geolocation by DB-IP.com, licensed under CC BY 4.0). The IP address is used only for that lookup and is not stored.

We also run affiliate tooling through our affiliate network (scripts served from emrldco.com), which may show suggested travel offers and measure bookings through our affiliate links. It follows the same consent model as analytics: within the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland it only loads after you accept, and it does not load if you decline.

9. Data security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data against unauthorised access, loss or misuse. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we continually review our safeguards.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date of the last update.

11. Contact

The data controller is the operator of Baltic Flights. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, contact us at hello@balticflights.com.
