How price alerts work on Baltic Flights

By the Baltic Flights team · · 4 min read

Fares move every day, and nobody has time to check the same route every morning. A price alert does the watching for you and writes only when something changes.

What an alert does

You pick a route, and we check its fares regularly. When the price falls, we send you an email with the new fare and the previous one, with a link to the route. You can follow one route or several, and cancel any of them with one click.

Setting one up

Open any route or destination page and use the alert form, or start from the alert button on the search results. Choose the origin and destination, add dates if you have them, and leave them empty if you are flexible.

  • Currency: pick the one you think in, from the euro and other EU currencies to US dollars, pounds or Ukrainian hryvnia.
  • Language: choose the language of the emails; it defaults to the language of the page and you can change it later.
  • Dates: a month is enough if you just want the cheapest day in it.

When alerts help most

Alerts shine when you know the route but not the right moment to buy: a trip home for the holidays, a summer holiday, a city break you are not in a hurry for. They are less useful for last-minute trips, where there is not enough time for the fare to move.

Managing your alerts

Every email has a link to manage the subscription. From there you can change the dates, the currency and the language of the emails, or unsubscribe from one alert or from everything.
